This February we visited Trefil here in Wales. It's only a short drive from home and lies at the top of Sirhowy Valley, near The Brecon Beacons Park. It's supposedly one of the highest villages in Wales. This time we visited the disused quarry which is now a beautiful place for a long walk - we walked over 7 miles on our visit. There was also a herd of wild horses. We reached the Trefil Viewpoint "Naughty Stone" from which much of The Brecon Beacons National Park can be seen, including the Black Mountains. The views, as always, were amazing.
